On the road to a sustainable and innovative future for Events
Something remarkable is happening at IBTM in Barcelona on Monday, November 27, 2023, between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM – the BEFuture THINK TANK and Workshop. This extraordinary European project aims to lead the events industry towards a sustainable and digital future, and we are ready for it!
BEFuture is a European initiative initiated by the Catalan Tourist Board/Catalunya Convention Bureau, in collaboration with 8 European partners from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands. Their joint goal? To create and shape the events of the future with a focus on sustainability, innovation, and European leadership.
The main objectives of BEFuture:
1. A sustainable future
BEFuture aims to organize events that are not only impressive but also sustainable. This means they are committed to minimizing the environmental impact while optimizing the overall experience for participants. A win-win for everyone!
2. Innovation and growth
Innovation is the key to progress. BEFuture plans to support at least 80 innovative projects and launch an extensive communication campaign to promote innovation and growth within the events sector. They aim to promote not only sustainability but also well-being and embrace the latest technologies.
3. European leadership
This project is unique as it is the very first European initiative specifically focused on the events industry. The goal? To position Europe as a global leader in innovation, technology, and sustainability in events.
And who will be representing B-Tonic at this groundbreaking event? None other than Siviglia Berto, Managing Director and CEO of B-Tonic She will participate in the BEFuture THINK TANK and Workshop on November 27, with the aim of exploring the path towards a sustainable and innovative future for the events industry, alongside other experts and participants.
